What it means to be a Brand Operations Manager
The Brand Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring Digital Entrepreneur continues to grow its audience, while implementing revenue-driven brand marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, Redbrick, the candidate will have a working knowledge of organic content marketing, paid media (PPC/SEM), affiliate partnerships and revenue marketing, having demonstrated past success scaling brand reach and monetization, while maintaining operational excellence.
*This position is a temporary 16 month-term position ideally starting November 1, 2024 (flexible start date). We are open to both US and Canadian applicants (remote first culture :))
We get it, you want to know what you’re signing up for before you apply, right? This is what you need to know. As a Brand Operations Manager at Digital Entrepreneur, you’ll be responsible for:
- Plan, manage and implement content monetization and growth strategies e.g., affiliate marketing, sponsored content, brand partnerships, paid, earned and organic media, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with brand partners, sponsors and contributors, identifying new opportunities for revenue generation and growth.
- Collaborate with editorial, creative, and marketing teams to drive targeted growth of Digital Entrepreneur’s audience and content engagement.
- Collaborate with corporate development to achieve content monetization goals, analyze revenue metrics and optimize brand growth and profitability.
- Oversee editorial, marketing and operational workflows, to ensure timely execution of bi-weekly publication, marketing campaigns and monetization strategies.

- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing and/or content marketing.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and creating operational and marketing budgets.
- Strong understanding of monetization strategies such as PPC, affiliate marketing, and sponsored content.
- Proven success building an audience using paid and organic strategies, as well as executing growth-focused marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage content production workflows and marketing campaigns efficiently.
Nice to Haves:
- Strong business and operational acumen.
- A mindful leadership style.
- Past experience owning content and editorial strategy, as well as managing content and editorial calendars.
