Technician – Reporting, Engineering Support, and Logistics
Location: On-site at our Coquitlam, BC office

We’re looking for a Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll use our in-house software to review pipeline measurements and produce detailed reports on defects and structural issues. You’ll also support clients by organizing data, assisting with simple robot maintenance, and coordinating shipping logistics. Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Review:
- Compile and review pipeline measurements processed by our engineering team.
- Document defects, structural issues, and other findings in clear, detailed reports.
- Organize and summarize LiDAR, Sonar, Radar, and video inspection results.
Technical Support & Maintenance:
- Perform basic maintenance on our robotic data collection platforms.
- Maintain, document, and order spare parts.
Logistics & Shipping:
- Coordinate global shipments of robotic systems with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Collaboration & Administration:
- Work closely with the engineering team to support project needs and system upkeep.
- Take on various administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Background in electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or remote sensing is a plus.
- Prior sewer inspection experience (e.g., PACP coding certification) is an asset.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Comfortable with software, computer systems, and troubleshooting (networking, scripts, and workarounds).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to type proficiently without looking at the keyboard.
- Organized, disciplined, and self-motivated.
- Works well in unstructured environments and takes initiative.
- Native-level English fluency with solid writing skills for technical reporting.
- Valid driver’s license required.
