Recruiter (Contract)

We are hiring a Recruiter based in LATAM to join our global team as a full-time, long-term contractor. You will be a core, fully integrated member of the team, working closely with teams across North America.

We are entering a critical growth phase as more solar and infrastructure companies look to replace fragmented systems with a unified operations platform.

As a Canadian company with an established global footprint across Canada, Brazil, and Eastern Europe, we are looking for a seasoned talent acquisition professional to support the next stage of growth.

Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Operations, your mandate is to significantly scale our talent pipelines and elevate our hiring strategy over the next 12 months by:

  • Expanding hiring across Canada and key LATAM markets
  • Strengthening recruiting channels and implementing modern sourcing tools
  • Driving proactive talent acquisition through outbound outreach, headhunting, and strategic candidate engagement

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Growth & Candidate Sourcing

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product roles—from sourcing through onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and drive efficient recruitment processes
  • Build and execute outbound sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates across Canada and LATAM
  • Grow qualified candidate pipelines while improving funnel conversion rates
  • Develop repeatable recruiting playbooks for outreach, engagement, and headhunting

Recruitment Tech & Tool Implementation

  • Optimize our recruiting systems and lead the evaluation and implementation of new sourcing and automation tools
  • Introduce structure, data tracking, and performance measurement to our outreach and screening processes
  • Ensure global data privacy compliance and modern tracking standards are maintained across our recruiting stack

Candidate Experience & Global Brand Integration

  • Elevate Scoop’s employer brand presence across Canadian and LATAM talent networks
  • Ensure the end-to-end interview process is tightly integrated with our core company values, delivering an exceptional candidate experience regardless of the final hiring outcome

What Success Looks Like

  • Meaningful increase in monthly qualified candidate submissions and outbound interview velocity
  • Successful launch and adoption of modern sourcing tools and outbound outreach workflows
  • A highly optimized, strategic, and scalable international recruitment function

Who We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience within SaaS or the broader Tech industry
  • Proven hiring expertise in the LATAM and Canadian talent landscape
  • Proven track record of managing full-funnel hiring pipelines (from cold sourcing to final onboarding) for diverse roles across Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product motions.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms (e.g., Workable, Greenhouse, or equivalent), and productivity/reporting tools
  • Strong behavioral interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate sales competencies, including commercial acumen, resilience, and communication
  • Proven ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
  • Comfortable as a sole contributor—highly strategic but completely hands-on and execution-focused.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation and performance bonus
  • Monthly Compensation (varies by location):
    • R$ 7.000 – R$ 10.000 / month
    • MXN$ 30,000 – MXN$ 40,000 / month
    • COP$ 5,000,000 – COP$ 7,080,000 / month
  • Contract Type: Independent Contractor / B2B Contract (Contrato PJ for Brazil-based applicants)
  • Within the posted range, individual compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including specific work experience, relevant skills, certifications, and geographic location. We are committed to pay equity and regularly review our compensation structures to ensure fairness
