We are looking for a Senior SDET to join our platform team to not only act as a testing focused developer for our platform components but also to help guide the overall development and improvement of the RouteThis engineering test automation stack. We care deeply about our technology, resolving customer pain points, and getting stuff done fast and are looking for people who share these values and are ready to execute against them every day.
In this role you will:
- Design and implement automated tests for our platform components on our AWS infrastructure
- Execute exploratory testing of our platform and products
- Experiment and recommend improvements to the overall RouteThis testing technology stack supporting service-based and serverless solutions, web and mobile applications
- Help teams develop ever improving abilities to test and measure the quality of our entire software suite
- Work closely with product managers, customer experience team members, and customers to better understand the problems to be solved
What you bring to the table:
- Experience developing and communicating testing strategies and designs for web and mobile applications in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to develop effective tests for mobile, web, and server components
- Excellent debugging and diagnostic skills
- Experience measuring effectiveness of a quality program
- Can contribute to solution design discussions and inject testability into solution discussions
- Actively collaborative and communicative
- Experience mentoring less experienced developers
- Effective communication skills with individuals and groups for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with test automation technologies including Cypress
- Experience with mobile test automation
- Ideally have experience developing tests and solutions with these technologies: AWS services, nest.js, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Snowflake, React, Android, iOS
