Salary Information:
The pay range for this role in Canada is: $66,500 - $92,000 C AD
The listed salary reflects the pay range for a role based in Canada. Compensation may differ based on alternate locations if listed. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly. What You’ll Do
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Build and maintain MRP-driven production schedules, reports, and work order releases.
- Track plan adherence and on-time delivery, escalating issues and rebalancing priorities as needed.
- Coordinate workflows across manufacturing areas to improve flow and efficiency.
- Support capacity planning and production control; review forecasts and demand to align plans to business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels/parameters, including safety stock settings, to maintain material availability.
- Partner cross-functionally to mitigate excess/obsolete inventory risk.
- Work with shop floor teams to ensure schedules are feasible and priorities are aligned.
- Coordinate with Procurement/Materials to resolve shortages and supply constraints.
- Support shipment targets across manufacturing departments (e.g., SMT, assembly, test, kitting).
- Maintain key ERP/MRP data (routings, lead times, planning parameters, production settings).
- Coordinate R&D builds, repairs, and RMAs to meet timelines and disposition requirements.
- Identify and escalate operational risks proactively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Provide cross-functional support/backup for Materials and Planning as needed.
- Support product lifecycle activities (NPI, revisions, end-of-life transitions).
Education & Qualifications
- College diploma in Supply Chain/Operations/Manufacturing (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years’ experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination.
- CPIM (or in progress) is an asset.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing planning (scheduling, capacity, inventory).
- Knowledge of product structures, routings, and inventory management practices.
- Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills; strong data entry and reporting capability.
- Strong organisation, analysis, and problem-solving; detail-oriented and proactive.
- Clear written/verbal communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; continuous improvement mindset.
