What The Job Is All About:

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist who will serve as the technical authority for manufacturing process design, readiness, and performance across key product and process families. In this role, you will shape our manufacturing system strategy, lead critical capital investments, drive structural improvements in quality and delivery, and ensure full compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

This is a senior technical leadership position with broad impact across NPI, production, and continuous improvement activities. You will mentor engineers, guide cross-functional decision-making, and act as the organization’s primary expert for advanced manufacturing problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the manufacturing process strategy and architecture for assigned product/process families
  • Lead manufacturing readiness for NPI and major product changes, including DFM/DFA, risk management, and readiness assessments
  • Drive the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new manufacturing technologies, automation, and advanced tooling
  • Lead capital investment proposals, including technical justification, ROI analysis, and vendor technical assessments
  • Define and govern process capability, monitoring, and control strategies
  • Monitor and act on performance trends related to yield, scrap, process capability, and throughput
  • Lead system-level root cause analysis for chronic or high‑impact manufacturing and test failures
  • Implement permanent corrective actions to eliminate systemic issues and improve long-term process robustness
  • Own manufacturing standards, best practices, documentation, and institutional knowledge
  • Mentor and technically review the work of Process Engineers and engineering team members
  • Lead engineering-driven projects including scope definition, milestone management, risk assessment, and delivery of technical outputs
  • Serve as the technical “go-to” expert, providing high-level troubleshooting and guidance and coordinating with Managers on assignments and priorities

Who You Are :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • 6–10+ years of experience in electronics or electro‑mechanical manufacturing
  • Expert-level knowledge of IPC standards and experience in regulated manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience leading NPI manufacturing readiness, process industrialization, and capital investments
  • Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional technical decision-making.
  • Strong project leadership, communication, and technical documentation skills
  • Demonstrated success transitioning NPIs to production with minimal downstream disruption
  • Experience designing manufacturing systems that scale effectively without repeated redesign
  • Evidence that prior capital investments delivered improvements in quality, cost, or delivery
  • Proven track record of structurally eliminating chronic manufacturing issues
  • Experience contributing to year-over-year reductions in customer escapes and audit findings
  • Senior-level engineering judgment and strong ownership of technical outcomes

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to guide manufacturing strategy and influence high-impact decisions.
  • Ownership of advanced technology deployment and process innovation.
  • A leadership role with meaningful visibility across engineering, operations, and quality.
  • A culture that values technical rigor, continuous improvement, and process excellence
