The Commercial Operations Support Specialist - Data Management position at Ross Video is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our sales database, a crucial component underpinning our operational effectiveness and alignment with corporate standards. Reporting to the Team Lead, Commercial Operations – Data Management, this role demands a meticulous approach to managing and safeguarding detailed customer and product information within our expansive database. This information is vital to the functionality of various operational systems within the company.

What The Job Is All About
Key responsibilities include the production and management of daily reports essential for monitoring data accuracy and the operation of an internal case management system for requests related to data verification or updates. This role is instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our data, which directly influences strategic decisions and operational efficiency across the company.
- Manage and produce daily operational reports to guarantee continuous data integrity and swiftly rectify any discrepancies, thereby ensuring the reliability of corporate data
- Respond to and resolve data-related issues and incidents as they arise, including troubleshooting errors, addressing user queries, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Develop, implement, and monitor data integrity standards and best practices within organizational systems to maintain consistency across data sets
- Evaluate change management requests concerning data integrity, propose modifications, and recommend improvements to current processes to enhance overall data quality
- Continuously update and refine process documentation to ensure clarity and efficiency in data integrity management tasks and procedures
- Lead data cleanup initiatives to rectify legacy data issues, including standardization and validation of data sets
- Implement and oversee regular quality control checks and audits of the database to ensure ongoing data accuracy and integrity
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional post-secondary education is advantageous
- Demonstrable knowledge of sales processes, with direct experience in sales being highly beneficial
- At least one year of experience with Salesforce.com, showcasing basic proficiency and understanding of CRM systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite of products, with a high level of competence in Excel
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence applications in data management will be considered a distinct asset
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen passion for maintaining data integrity
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and processes simultaneously without compromising quality
- A proactive, action-oriented individual who takes initiative and drives for results
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively across departments

Salary Information:
The pay range for this role in Canada is: $44,000 - $58,000 CAD
The listed salary reflects the pay range for a role based in Canada. Compensation may differ based on alternate locations if listed. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly.
