We are looking for an Inventory Processor – SMT to join our Manufacturing team and help keep our production operations running with accuracy and efficiency. In this role, you will support optimal inventory management, ensure materials are staged and processed correctly, and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. You will also apply technical expertise, help resolve inventory discrepancies, and support continuous improvement in SMT operations.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Material Picking & Staging
- Pick components using setup documents, ensuring accuracy and proper staging for production schedules.
- Use Job Change Tool, T-Studio, Bartender, and Inovaxe software to pick SMT components (PCBs, stencils, reels, trays, barcode labels).
- Work closely with SMT operators, production planners, and supervisors to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Understand and follow MES system requirements for online documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations, including using X-ray equipment, to verify component accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all inventory movements.
- Follow FIFO and strict lot control to maintain traceability and reduce waste.
- Perform put-away using handheld scanners and label incoming inventory from Receiving.
- Split component reels with accurate documentation to support efficient usage.
- Manage the SMT Unplanned Shortage process.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage areas.
- Follow all safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and contribute to maintaining a safe workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-related role is an asset.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Shares information clearly, timely, and effectively
- Works closely with partners across the production floor to achieve operational goals
