Process Architect – Manufacturing (Plan to Produce)

As part of our ongoing digital manufacturing transformation, we are seeking a Manufacturing Process Architect – Plan-to-Produce (P2P) to define, standardise, and scale how we plan, manufacture, and deliver products across our global operations.

This role provides end-to-end ownership of the Plan-to-Produce process, from engineering handover through shop-floor execution and close-out. You will work at the intersection of Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Information Systems, ensuring our processes and systems evolve in line with business growth.

If you enjoy working in complex manufacturing environments, connecting people and systems, and delivering sustainable operational improvements, this role offers a significant opportunity to make an impact.

Who you report to: Chief Manufacturing Officer

Work Arrangement: Work from Office

What we offer:

Ross offers competitive salaries and comprehensive health plans, as well as several perks to help you perform at your best.

Some of these perks include flexible hours, generous paid time off, fitness/wellness allowance, employee share ownership program, professional development support and a ton of fun social activities and events!

Best of all, you will be part of the Ross Video team, and we’ve got a pretty energizing environment here.

What the job is all about:

End-to-End Process Leadership

  • Steer the design, documentation, and optimisation of the Plan-to-Produce (P2P) process across all manufacturing sites.
  • Own end-to-end workflows include planning, routing, scheduling, shop-floor execution, inventory management, configuration, and manufacturing close-out.
  • Ensure alignment between Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Quality.
  • Harmonised process variations across sites, product lines, and business units while respecting local operational needs.

Systems Integration & Process Design

  • Define and translate business requirements for the Infor LN Manufacturing suite (APS, Planning, Shop Floor, Costing, MRP).
  • Work closely with Agile PLM stakeholders to align BOMs, routings, ECO workflows, and configuration management.
  • Partner with Information Systems to support solution architecture, prioritise enhancements, and participate in system design and optimisation activities.
  • Act as the functional bridge between operational requirements and system capabilities.

Change Management & Governance

  • Establish and maintain global standards, governance frameworks, KPIs, and process documentation.
  • Facilitate P2P governance forums, process workshops, and cross-functional working groups.
  • Support communication and training plans to ensure effective adoption of process and system changes.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Guide Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Plan-to-Produce domain.
  • Apply structured improvement methods (value stream mapping, waste research, data analytics) to identify and resolve system-level bottlenecks.
  • Improve the effectiveness of scheduling, capacity planning, shop-floor execution, and manufacturing data quality.

Programme & Project Leadership

  • Manage or support enterprise-wide manufacturing and digital transformation programmes.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, readiness assessments, and cross-site implementation activities.
  • Support UAT cycles and ensure business processes align with system capabilities prior to deployment.
  • Influence stakeholders across functions and global locations without direct line authority.

Compliance, Security & Standards

  • Ensure P2P processes comply with corporate quality standards (ISO, IPC, etc.).
  • Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness for manufacturing records, traceability, and system integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT/OT teams to ensure appropriate security, access controls, and governance are in place.

What You Bring

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BOM and routing design, ECO processes, WIP management, MES, shop-floor execution, and APS/MRP planning.
  • Hands-on experience with Infor LN Manufacturing or a comparable ERP platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to Steer cross-functionally and influence without formal authority.
  • Established experience translating operational needs into clear, actionable process and system requirements.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • Experience with Agile PLM, MES / Factory Track, or Salesforce integrations.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or highly configurable assembly environments.

What Success Looks Like

  • A clearly defined, documented, and widely adopted global Plan-to-Produce process.
  • Simplified, stable, and increasingly automated workflows enabling consistent execution across sites.
  • A predictable, measurable, and scalable NPI handover from Engineering to Manufacturing.
  • Improved data quality, visibility, and decision-making across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • Experience leading or co-leading a multi-site ERP implementation, especially standardising processes across regions.
  • Tested ability to balance global standards with local operational realities.
  • Demonstrated success improving NPI handover, ECO flow, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Experience aligning PLM and ERP data to reduce late changes and production disruption.
