The Solutions Architect is a critical member of the SAARC Sales team. This role serves as a key technical resource, demonstrating expert-level knowledge of Ross Video's products and solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for scoping and designing complex technical solutions tailored to meet customer requirements across SAARC and within multiple verticals including traditional broadcast, government, education, corporate and house of worship. This position requires a unique blend of solution architecture expertise, customer-facing "soft" skills, and pre-sales experience. The Solutions Architect regularly interacts with prospects, partners, consultants, as well as internal teams—such as sales, product development, project management, and technical support—to ensure that the solutions specified are both supported and maintainable.

What the job is all about:
- Participates in and contributes to sales opportunities driven by the Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers, prioritizing efforts based on maximizing total impact on the team's productivity.
- Design and review solutions based on technical RFP/Tender specifications.
- Develop and review highly customized, scalable solution architectures that address intricate customer specifications and set new standards for technical excellence in the Broadcast and Corporate industries
- Coordinates closely with Ross' internal Sales team and business partners to design solutions to meet customers' business requirements.
- Engages in customer-facing product presentations, demos, training, and workflow guidance to end-users and business partners at customer premises or tradeshows.
- Pre-sales technical engineering and project management.
- Ensures the product line's sales and marketing follow the Ross Video Code of Ethics.
- Works on systems-oriented and highly technical projects.
- Creates conceptual sales drawings that capture the spirit of specific opportunities while also creating general variations for use by other groups at Ross.
- Assists sales team during project discovery calls.
- Helps to prepare world-class customer-facing proposal supplements.
- Acts as a "Technical Evangelist" to help build trust and inspiration with our partners and customers.
- Provides client feedback to product teams regarding product & application requirements.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of combined pre-sales experience, systems application, or product specialist experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or related field.
- Record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge/experience in studio/broadcast/live event video production, broadcast video system design/engineering, or equivalent.
- Possess strong knowledge of industry standard protocols, connectors and terminations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio/AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication & presentation Skills.
- Must be proficient in both Desktop and Server Networking practices.
- Able to work co-operatively with and across all company departments, and across time zones.
- Possess strong and creative problem-solving traits.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM programs.
Bonus points if you have the following:
- Additional education through courses in Broadcast and closely related field is desirable
- Familiarity with Ross Video products and solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT, IP-based workflows, REMI, virtualized environments and broadcast systems is a plus.
- Prior knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems will be an asset.
- The ideal candidate will be solutions-orientated, organized, self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative environment.

- Must be able to travel up to 50% (short-notice and international trips).
- Must reside in Delhi NCR region, India.
