The Camera Motion Systems’ team is recruiting a Software Developer to participate in new product development, product sustaining, and customer support for the Ross Video Robotics portfolio.

What the job is all about:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain software and algorithms that integrate sensors for robot perception, guidance, navigation, and control.
• Evaluate, develop, optimize robotic algorithms other features relevant to our robotics portfolio.
• Participate in full Agile product development lifecycle and end-to-end software development:
• Requirements gathering, scoping, design
• Write and modify software code in C and C++.
• Test software using end-user application(s) and use cases.
• Develop and run unit tests
• Use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Support and maintain software deployed to customers
• Work with Product Verification/Test Automation team to develop automated test scripts and procedures.
• Occasional travel to customer sites

What you have:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or Computer Science or in a related area, with 5+ years appropriate experience.
• Experience in object tracking, pose estimation, 3D reconstruction, sensor fusion, feature extraction, etc, particularly with LiDAR sensors.
• Experience with IMUs and other navigation sensors used in robotics applications.
• C/C++ programming experience, preferably on Linux in real-time or near real-time applications.
• Working knowledge of Linux development tools
• Experience developing using source code revision systems e.g. Git.
• Knowledge of mechatronics or control theory is a plus
• Valid passport with ability to travel to the US and/or EU is preferred
