As part of Camera Motion Systems, design and develop mechanical component and assemblies for broadcast robotics products. Coordinate as necessary with the wider development team, suppliers and manufacturing as well as Product Verification team as directed by R&D management.

Who you report to: Hardware Manager, CMS

What the job is all about:

  • Participate in product development along with other engineering disciplines to reach optimum solution.

Mechanical design:

  • Design documentation including part and assembly drawings and associated calculations.
  • COTS selection and fabricated parts / assembly design.
  • Testing – planning, execution and documentation
  • Manufacturing liaison.
  • Agile (PDM) maintenance in association with TPM and POM.

Who you are:

  • Experience in the mechanical design cycle and knowledge of design principles
  • Experience of working with manufacturing and the Agile component management system.
  • Familiar with use of Inventor Pro and AutoDesk Vault.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering program
  • Knowledge of robotics / automation products preferred.
