Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management and Business Development, this exciting role combines product marketing, sales support, and product/business development.
You will also be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the product specialists’ team, including all HR responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, scheduling of tasks, approving work, etc.

What the job is all about:
Product Management
- Own the product lifecycle from product / feature ideation to launch.
- Define and maintain product roadmap in cooperation with Technical Product Manager / Senior Director of Product Management / VP of Graphics.
- Able to integrate ideas from customers, sales force, and engineering into killer product ideas.
- Monitor industry trends and define how they may influence product roadmap.
- Provide guidance to engineering team in terms of prioritization and definition of new products / features.
- Investigate the potential in new markets, with input from sales, business development managers and channel partners.
- Pricing strategies & price list maintenance.
- Competitive analysis (feature and price comparisons).
- Leverage SalesForce to gain business insights, in collaboration with business development managers.
- Provide regular product forecast updates to manufacturing.
- Initiation of and participation in product brainstorming sessions/surveys.
- Build relationships with key end users by calling on customer facilities directly to promote the product.
Product Marketing
- Maintain and evolve the Ross Voyager and Lucid brands.
- Oversee the development of promotional literature (brochures, cut sheets, etc.).
- Participate and oversee the creation of the following: ads, catalog, website content, blogging, success stories, press releases, product packaging and white papers.
- Oversee the creation and supervision of show reels & training videos.
- Oversee demo content and tradeshow kit supervision.
- Configuration and ordering guides.
- Preparation of sales and dealer information packages.
- Planning for key trade shows and internal events (IBC, NAB, etc..).
- Develop and implement key marketing initiatives related to the product.
Sales Support
- Responsibility for sales results and influencing increased sales in the product line.
- Provide Sales training and Dealer training.
- Travel to support key onsite customer demos and presentations, attending key tradeshows, and travel to different territories to assess unique needs of the region.
- Work with Directors of Sales to create regional sales strategies.
- Key customer liaison.
Team Management
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Product Specialists team including all HR responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, scheduling of tasks, approving work, etc.
Who you are:
- Post- secondary education in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience selling & marketing broadcast graphics equipment.
- Experience working in or around broadcast television graphics and television news.
- Strong background in broadcast & production graphics.
- Solid understanding of Virtual Graphics technologies (Unreal, Virtual Sets, Augmented Reality, Extended Reality).
- Experience selling & marketing broadcast equipment.
- Broadcast systems engineering experience.
- A solid understanding of broadcast & IT Systems.
- Excellent knowledge of a live production environment
- Familiarity with software development processes
- Sales and/or marketing training
