We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.
About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the evolution of Tempo’s platform layer that powers our suite of time, planning, and resource management solutions. Working closely with the Product & Engineering Leadership Team, you’ll define and execute strategies that ensure the platform’s scalability, extensibility, and enterprise readiness.
This role is both technical and strategic - you’ll be responsible for shaping how Tempo’s platform capabilities (such as user provisioning, entitlements, and integrations) enable seamless product experiences and efficient growth across customer segments.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our platform meets the needs of fast-scaling customers and integrates effectively with key systems like billing, identity, and analytics. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical fluency, system-level thinking, and customer empathy, and thrives on building foundational capabilities that power multiple products.
What you’ll do:
Platform Strategy & Technical Ownership (Business-Driven Scaling)
Drive the strategic vision for platform-level scalability and enterprise readiness, ensuring the architecture and capabilities evolve to support significant customer growth, from initial acquisition through enterprise-scale operations.
Own the technical integration and feature roadmap for the platform’s entitlements and provisioning system, defining the logic that accurately translates billing subscriptions into user access and permissions.
Lead prioritization and delivery of enterprise-grade features like SCIM-based or just-in-time provisioning, improving automation and reducing overhead for large customer accounts.
Guide the platform’s role in customer acquisition and account management flows, including trials, self-service sign-ups, and enterprise provisioning, to create a unified and efficient user journey.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure robust API and webhook integrations with third-party systems (e.g., billing, identity, or CRM) to power consistent product functionality.
Product Strategy & Delivery
Partner with senior management to define product vision, goals, and success metrics aligned with Tempo’s broader product portfolio.
Translate customer and stakeholder needs into actionable product plans, balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability.
Support other Tempo product teams by delivering platform capabilities that accelerate their roadmap and drive consistent experiences across products.
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and GTM teams to plan and execute high-impact releases.
Monitor and analyze platform adoption, usage metrics, and performance to guide continuous improvement.
Who you are:
6+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform, infrastructure, or systems-focused products.
Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data integration principles; familiarity with identity management and provisioning systems (SCIM, SSO, OAuth).
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product areas.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for prioritization and decision-making.
Strong communicator who can translate complex systems into clear business value narratives.
Background in software development or program management is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in the Atlassian ecosystem or enterprise SaaS platforms is a strong advantage.
