About the role:
We are looking for a Manager, Product & Growth Analytics to build and lead the analytics function that supports our Product and Growth organizations. You will manage our Product Analyst and serve as the primary strategic partner to Product and Growth leadership to turn data into actionable insights and measurable results that accelerate activation, user engagement, retention and monetization across the Tempo product portfolio.
What you’ll do:
Own the analytics roadmap for Product and Growth, ensuring we are tracking and analyzing the data needed to measure success of our product suite and growth initiatives
Lead and mentor the Product Analyst, providing coaching, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of rigor, impact and continuous improvement
Partner closely with Product Manager, Designers, Engineers, and Growth Marketers to define KPIs, design experiments and interpret results
Develop and maintain scalable data models in dbt and BigQuery that power self-serve analytics and deliver insights to stakeholders
Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to analyze funnel performance, cohort behavior, feature adoption, and revenue growth drivers
Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests, providing statistically sound recommendations that influence roadmaps and go-to-market tactics
Build dashboards and visualizations in Looker or similar tools to democratize insights and track performance
Drive data quality and governance by collaborating with Engineering on instrumentation standards, event taxonomy and documentation
Who you are:
5-8 years of experience in product analytics or a related field within a SaaS or technology environment
People management experience with proven ability to develop talent
Expert-level SQL skills with a track record of turning complex data sets into actionable insights
Hands-on experience with dbt and BIgQuery or a comparable modern data stack
Deep understanding of product and growth-metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, LTV and CAC
Demonstrated success designing and interpreting A/B tests, cohort analyses, and funnel diagnostics
Proficiency with BI and data visualization platforms (Looker or similar)
Familiarity with product analytics and customer-data tools (Segment, Amplitude) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
Strong business acumen and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar) or equivalent practical experience
