About the role
As the Manager, Client Onboarding, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our clients’ first experiences with our platform. Leading a team of onboarding specialists, you’ll ensure our clients are set up for success from day one. This role combines leadership, strategy, and operational excellence to deliver seamless onboarding experiences that exceed client expectations. You will report directly to the Co-CEO, working closely with leadership to align onboarding strategies with broader company objectives.
The day-to-day
Lead and manage a team of onboarding specialists, overseeing hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Foster a positive and engaged team culture through regular one-on-ones and effective feedback.
Drive process improvements to scale onboarding operations, enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction.
Evolve the onboarding playbook from kick-off through setup to QA, ensuring best practices are followed.
Set and track team goals, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks to meet key performance metrics.
Use data and tools (CRM, project management software) to drive decisions and prioritize initiatives.
About you
2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing a team in client onboarding, customer success, or a related function.
Proven ability to coach, inspire, and develop talent within a team.
Demonstrated process improvement and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
Data-driven, organized, and adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus: Experience with Payroll or HR systems.

The base salary for this position is $70-90k, depending on experience, plus a bonus and stock options.
