About the role
If you know a thing or two about underwriting group benefits, love data and want the opportunity to work to create a truly digital client experience, then Rise Health is the place for you!
You will ideally have experience working with benefits renewal tools, quarterly reporting, and all the typical insights and content that clients want and need to support data-based decision-making. Here is the place where you can see your ideas come to life as you work with our carriers and engineers to build the foundations in a startup that will define our Rise Health offering.
The day-to-day responsibilities
Support the development and evolution of client tools/insight that balance our need to be both profitable and competitive.
Carrier relations: new client implementation, renewal, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and day-to-day troubleshooting.
Oversee client monthly billing.
About you
3+ years of experience as a technician in a Group Benefits environment, such as working with or for an insurer, a TPA, or a consulting firm
Undergraduate degree in STEM, commerce, or equivalent experience
Understand renewal methodology, know what credibility is, and have comfort talking about the technical aspects of group benefits
Excellent spreadsheet proficiency and comfortable working with formulas and data
Solid communication skills. Ability to explain and discuss numbers with stakeholders.

The base salary for this position is $58,000-68,000, depending on experience, plus stock options.
We offer a remote work environment. On occasion, we may meet as a team or one-on-one in person.
