About the role

Thousands of Canadian companies rely on Rise to pay, manage, and grow their people. Most of them are self-sufficient and happy to reach out to our support team if they ever need help. However, the larger the client, the more mission-critical our platform becomes for their business. Such clients deserve (and often expect) proactive, continuous nurturing of their relationship with Rise.

That’s where you come in. As we scale, we’re looking for a dedicated Customer Success Manager to look after our top clients. You’ll manage high-value accounts, ensuring they remain happy, successful, and committed.

When issues arise, you’ll rally your teammates across Client Experience, Product, and Engineering to resolve them. You’ll also spot opportunities to expand our product adoption and work with Sales to grow accounts.

This high-impact role offers significant growth opportunities. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll collaborate with all teams and leaders to establish and scale the Customer Success function at Rise.

The day-to-day

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their business needs and objectives.

  • Helping clients maximize the value of the Rise platform to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with customers to drive product adoption and identify opportunities for upsell or cross-sell.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Gather and relay customer feedback to the Product team to inform the product roadmap and improve the user experience.

About you

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related role within a SaaS company.

  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentations, and demonstrations.

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.

  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Engineering.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret customer data to make informed decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Familiarity with customer success tools and metrics.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

  • The base salary for this position is $70-90k, depending on experience, plus a bonus and stock options.
