About the role

We’re a highly driven group of professionals focused on growing the adoption of Canada’s most powerful, easy-to-use online HR management solution for small and medium-sized businesses. We’re looking for a results-oriented, energetic professional obsessed with creating delight in every customer interaction. As a key member of our client-facing team, you’ll support Payroll, HR, and Scheduling & Time Tracking products to empower our clients to learn and advocate on their behalf to address their issues.

With your keen eye for detail and client experience, you’ll identify patterns in the types of issues and requests we get and use that towards driving efficiencies within the Rise Client Support ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build a career in customer support or the HR/Payroll technology space.

Your day-to-day

  • You’ll be working with our clients, including administrators, directors, and CFOs, to help troubleshoot issues and see them through to resolution.

  • Comfortable taking initiative, you’ll answer client questions and address their issues promptly via phone, email, and live chat.

  • As the voice of the client, you’ll be passing on feedback to the Rise team on how to continually improve our solutions and service offerings.

  • You will help us constantly improve by proactively identifying items we can optimize and then help us implement your ideas.

  • You’ll balance your own day, ask for help when you need it, and quickly assist your peers when they ask you to step in.

About you

  • Post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience in customer service/administration/HR

  • Excellent written and verbal communication that’s professional, helpful and engaging

  • Organized, quick learner with keen listening and critical thinking skills

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications

  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative

  • Bonus if you have completed or working towards National Payroll Institute certification (PCP, CPM)

  • Bonus if you speak French
