Description
Resolver operates as a hybrid workforce with a mix of both at home and in office work. For this particular role we are looking for someone who wants to hang out with us in real life once or twice a week.
Resolver is looking for a SEO/AEO Specialist, to support Resolver’s digital growth by managing the optimization of the company’s SEO/AEO performance. This role combines technical SEO expertise, analytics, and some web management skills to ensure that Resolver’s digital experience is discoverable and conversion-optimized across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.

Let's break down the day-to-day a little further:
SEO, AEO & Technical Optimization (40%)
Measures of Success: Improved organic rankings and traffic for target keywords, enhanced crawl health scores, reduced site errors, and measurable increases in discoverability across search and LLM platforms.
- Implement Resolver’s SEO and AEO strategy across web properties in alignment with business and campaign goals.
- Conduct ongoing site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as indexing, crawlability, speed, and schema markup.
- Manage keyword mapping, meta data, internal linking, and on-page optimization across Resolver.com.
- Conduct keyword and search intent research to guide SEO and AEO optimization across website pages, content creation, and campaign strategy, driving sustained organic growth and high-intent traffic.
- Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance AI and voice search discoverability (AEO).
- Support GEO optimization efforts for regional discoverability and search ranking.
- Track algorithm changes and implement timely technical updates to maintain or improve rankings.
- Develop and execute a backlink and authority-building strategy to improve domain and page authority, supporting sustainable organic search growth.
Web Page Management & CRO (30%)
Measures of Success: Growth in organic traffic and conversions, improved Core Web Vitals and page load times, and consistent UX across all managed web pages and devices.
- Build and update web pages, ensuring all pages meet accessibility, SEO, and AEO best practices.
- Partner with CRO and UX stakeholders to ensure SEO-driven web pages and content meet accessibility requirements and are optimized for user intent, engagement, and conversion.
- Manage day-to-day updates through the CMS (e.g. WordPress).
- Partner with UX Designer and Web Developer to deliver visually consistent, fast-loading, and high-performing pages.
- Execute A/B testing and implement data-backed optimizations to increase conversions on key landing pages and forms.
- Support site structure improvements, schema, meta descriptions, FAQs, and help maintain page templates, navigation, and user flows.
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure all assets align with Resolver’s brand guidelines and UX standards.
Analytics & Reporting (20%)
Measures of Success: Accurate, real-time visibility into SEO and web performance; complete and reliable tracking across key user actions; actionable insights shared regularly with the team.
- Maintain and validate website tracking and SEO tools, including GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, and platforms such as SEMrush.
- Build dashboards and performance reports to monitor organic traffic, rankings, and conversion performance.
- Analyze web and SEO data to identify insights and opportunities for optimization.
- Work with Marketing Operations to ensure data quality and correct attribution.
- Support monthly reporting for digital KPIs and inbound performance. .
- Build and maintain dashboards for paid, organic, and web performance in tools like GA4, Tableau, and Salesforce.
- Develop a unified measurement framework connecting digital activity to opportunity and revenue impact.
- Deliver actionable insights on audience behavior, channel performance, and content effectiveness.
- Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure tracking, tagging, and attribution are accurate and consistent across platforms.
Team Collaboration & Support (10%)
Measures of Success: Smooth campaign execution, consistent web presence across departments, proactive recommendations implemented from trend insights.
- Partner with content, paid media, and campaign teams to ensure cohesive digital performance across all channels.
- Support product and campaign launches with optimized web builds and on-page SEO support.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, search algorithm updates, and emerging AEO/GEO trends.
- Contribute to cross-team discussions on testing, web performance, and innovation.
More about you:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience managing SEO strategies.
- Proven experience managing technical SEO projects, schema implementation, and performance audits
- Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Screaming Frog
- Familiarity with AEO/GEO strategies and structured data optimization
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience with CRO tools (e.g., Hotjar, Optimizely) an asset
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, or other marketing automation tools an asset
- Prior experience creating SEO/AEO performing content & landing pages

- The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000
