The Influencer Marketing Manager sits on the Growth Marketing team and is responsible for managing the strategic direction of our Influencer channel. You will use data to set partner recommendations, analyze influencer performance and drive optimizations to drive our ambitious acquisition goals for our Influencer channel. This is an extremely collaborative role, working across teams such as Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Design, and Data Analytics to drive a smooth influencer activation process.
As an early member of our expanding Influencer Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence Relay’s influencer strategy and overall company growth. You’ll leverage Relay’s unique data to build campaigns and drive impact to channel performance optimizing campaigns toward our highest-value customers. What You'll Be Doing

  • Research and identify relevant influencers across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Evaluate influencers for brand fit, authenticity, and engagement metrics
  • Develop meaningful influencer relationships that engage their audiences with our offerings
  • Drive efficient customer acquisition on our influencer marketing channel
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with influencers and their representatives
  • Brief and guide influencers on campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Review and provide feedback on content before it goes live
  • Provide ongoing support and nurture long-term partnerships
  • Track campaign performance across multiple metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
  • Communicate effectively with marketing leaders on the performance of ongoing Influencer initiatives
  • Partner closely with our Brand and Product Marketing teams, to push our new product launches or brand campaigns with our influencer partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor programs

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience, or a related field with 2+ years working in influencer marketing specifically
  • You have a successful track record of planning, executing, and scaling Influencer Marketing strategies with budgets of $1M+ annually
  • You are exceptionally organized, with a keen attention to detail and a talent for bringing clarity and actionable solutions to every situation
  • You have a knack for gathering, analyzing and reporting on campaign data, with the goal of finding opportunities for improvement
  • You have exceptional relationship management and people skills
  • You have a resourceful and creative attitude, with the ability to propose, plan and execute campaigns that move core metrics
  • You actively seek opportunities to optimize processes, enhance campaigns, and drive continuous improvement within an acquisition framework
  • You have experience collaborating closely with other teams, such as design, brand marketing, and product marketing

  • You have familiarity with partner management tools like Impact
  • Experience marketing financial technology products to SMB customers

The Interview Process:

  • Stage 1: A 30-minute Google Meets video call with a member of the People Team
  • Stage 2: A 45-minute Google Meets video call with the VP of Growth
  • Stage 3: A take-home case study followed by a 1-hour presentation of your solution to our Growth team
  • Stage 4: A 30-min Google Meets video call with a member of Relay’s Leadership team
