- Develop, design, and produce industry-leading creative concepts and digital and physical assets, including webpages, landing pages, ebooks, webinars, social media content, blog visuals, ad units, pamphlets, swag, and more
- Work with the VP of Marketing to develop creative direction for mission-critical projects that clearly and persuasively connect with our target audience, driving user engagement and conversions
- Quickly turn concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and collect feedback from project stakeholders to refine designs while maintaining timelines
- Use A/B testing, heatmaps, analytics and other tools to inform and iterate on design decisions to improve performance metrics
- Build and manage a team of freelancers to execute on pipeline of creative assets for marketing team and other company stakeholders
- Elevate Relay’s brand design across all touchpoints ensuring a consistent and impactful experience for our target audience
- Coordinate and maintain a library of branded assets, including photography, graphics, iconography, templates, and other company design content.
- Stay up-to-date on competitor brand campaigns as well as brand design and industry trends to support leading design creation
- Be an internal champion for Relay’s brand design ensuring a high quality output and consistent experience for our target audience and customers
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of design experience across a wide variety of digital and physical assets that showcase your deep knowledge of design principles
- You are an expert in Figma, Adobe Suite and other design tools
- You have a portfolio of standout designs that demonstrates your ability to elevate brand quality and deliver tangible business results
- You’re a self-starter and team collaborator with a degree in graphic design and clear opinions on what quality design looks like
- You’re committed to researching Relay’s customers, understanding of their pain points and using those insights to influence your design strategy
- You’re an out-of-box problem-solver who is energized by navigating ambiguity and consistently delivering in a fast-paced, scrappy environment
- You have demonstrated experience managing teams of design freelancers to deliver different types of creative on brand and on time
- You’re highly skilled at translating concepts and feedback into compelling visual and user-centered designs
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail while managing multiple, concurrent deadlines at once
- You have a clear passion for creating exceptional, world-class design experiences for brands
Bonus Points
- Experience designing for industry-leading financial or B2B brands
- Experience with illustration or motion design
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

The Interview Process:
- Stage 1: A 30-minute Google Meets video call with a member of the People Team
- Stage 2: A 45-minute Google Meets video call with the VP of Marketing
- Stage 3: A take-home writing sample + case study followed by a 1-hour presentation of your solution to our Marketing team
- Stage 4: A 30-min Google Meets video call with a member of Relay’s Leadership team
