About the Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational strategy of the Domains portfolio (North America, Europe, and Retail). This position serves as a key contributor in planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical initiatives, while also providing support for ad hoc strategic and operational projects across the business.

Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, accounting team, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role is responsible for delivering clear financial insights, enabling data-driven decisions, and maintaining structured planning processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare, administer, and support forecasting and budgeting cycles, as well as generate timely reporting, insights, and analysis. Additionally, the role contributes to special projects that enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.

Job Duties

  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the full Domains portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Contribute to long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to inform strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including management reporting, tax reporting, and stakeholder updates.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial planning models, tools, and templates used for forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.
  • Partner with business leaders and cost center owners to develop budgets, analyze performance trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements, forecasts, and key metrics to deliver clear, data-driven insights that guide executive decision-making.
  • Provide decision support for operational and strategic initiatives, including RFPs, platform migrations, acquisitions, and securitizations.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the Domains Executive Team, influencing decisions on pricing, cost structure, and profitability.
  • Lead or support ad hoc strategic projects that enhance operational efficiency, optimize cost structures, and drive sustainable growth across the Domains portfolio.
  • Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to modernize financial reporting and streamline business processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in high-volume, data-driven environments with multi-entity or global structures.
  • Technically savvy, with an ability to learn new systems (ERP/BI systems e.g., Sage Intacct, Looker, Power BI) and leverage system capabilities.
  • Comfortable with shifting priorities, handling ambiguity, and navigating new challenges.
  • Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Maintains the highest standards of accuracy and precision; excellent attention to detail, results-focused, highly organized, and resourceful.
  • A collaborative teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and all levels of the organization, including non-finance personnel and executives.
  • Comfortable presenting to and training stakeholders across the business, helping non-financial teams understand financial concepts, performance metrics, and the impact of their decisions.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial controls is an asset.
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, or other high-growth industries is an asset.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CFA preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in audit, accounting/financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, or operational finance.
  • Strong proficiency (3+ years) with Excel and/or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, data analysis tools, and financial modeling techniques. #LI-Remote

​​The base salary range for this position is $83,810 to $98,600. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
