Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable EMR Product Quality Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable working across various functions, including quality assurance, technical writing, and e-learning content development, and has experience leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance their productivity and quality of work. The ideal candidate will work closely with product, development, and training teams to ensure our EMR solutions are thoroughly tested, well-documented, and supported by high-quality learning resources.

What will you do in RamSoft?

1. Quality Assurance (QA) Testing:
   • Develop and write detailed test cases and test plans for new features and product changes based on requirements and user stories.
   • Perform manual testing and validation of software components, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality standards.
   • Document and track issues in Jira or similar tools, collaborating with development teams to resolve identified bugs.
   • Conduct regression testing and periodic quality assurance checks to ensure ongoing product stability and reliability.
2. Technical Documentation:
   • Working with product team, create, update, and maintain comprehensive user help guides and manuals for new and existing features.
   • Use AI tools like ChatGPT to assist in drafting, editing, and improving the clarity and consistency of documentation.
   • Develop FAQs, release notes, and troubleshooting guides to support internal teams and customers.
   • Continuously review and refine documentation to reflect product changes, customer feedback, and best practices.
3. Learning Content Development:
   • Design and develop e-learning courses using Articulate 360 Storyline.
   • Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, such as generating initial course scripts, defining learning paths, and automating repetitive tasks.
   • Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, including scenario-based learning, assessments, and multimedia.
   • Create storyboards and define clear learning objectives aligned with business needs.

1. AI Integration in Workflows:
   • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, AI-based test automation tools) to streamline content creation, testing, and documentation tasks.
   • Develop AI-assisted frameworks for testing and content creation to enhance efficiency and productivity.
   • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI tools and recommend new applications for improving documentation, quality assurance, and learning content development.
2. Cross-Department Collaboration:
   • Work closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to ensure documentation and testing align with product goals and requirements.
   • Participate in project meetings to stay informed about product changes and proactively prepare documentation and testing plans.
   • Partner with training teams to develop and refine role-based learning paths and technical training sessions for users.

What will you bring to RamSoft?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Healthcare IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Technical Writing, or Instructional Design within a Healthcare/EMR environment.
• Strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare workflows.
• Proficiency with technical documentation tools (e.g., Confluence) and e-learning software (e.g., Articulate 360 Storyline).
• Working knowledge of Markdown language.
• Proven ability to write test cases, perform manual testing, and document test results.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity and comfort with using AI tools & prompt engineering (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance quality and efficiency in writing, testing, and content creation

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with Markdown language for content formatting.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in UX writing and instructional design principles.
