Principal Consultant - Budget & Implementation

The Opportunity
In this role, you will serve as the Implementation Manager leading implementation teams and performing project management for Euna’s Budget Enterprise SaaS solution. You will provide public sector budget consulting and support to our clients. Based on client requirements, configure Euna Budget Enterprise, review customer reporting requirements and map fields in Euna Budget Enterprise to the customer’s reports, perform application testing, and provide client documentation. Familiarity with public sector budgeting, accounting or other public sector work experience is required. In addition, to support our clients, you need to read SQL, query a database, and understand stored procedures.
In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service throughout the implementation process, from project kickoff to post-implementation support. You will manage project plans and timelines, ensure milestones are met, and proactively communicate project status updates to clients and internal stakeholders. You will also work with clients to identify areas for process improvement and recommend how they can best leverage our software solutions to achieve their business goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and supporting end-users to ensure a smooth transition to our software solutions. Finally, throughout the project, you will be responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction and helping drive client retention and growth. Following the completion of the project you will provide support to your clients when issues are submitted through a ticket tracking system.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in public sector budgeting at a city, county, state or similar or software implementation consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. CAPM or PMP is a plus

Master’s degree in public administration or public policy. -
Experience with software implementation lifecycle methodologies.

Experience working with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.

ERP, either through implementation or use in the public sector. -
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions to clients on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Create project plans and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.

- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the implementation process and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Train clients on using the software solutions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption.
- Work with internal teams to identify areas for improvement in the software development process and make recommendations for process improvements.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software implementation and consulting and share knowledge and expertise with the team.

Create appropriate documentation to allow a successful transition from implementation to post-implementation support.

Travel
Most client work is done remotely, but expect up to 2 on-site visits per implementation, no more than 8 total trips per year.
Location
This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Atlanta, GA office.
