What You’ll Be Doing
Internal testing and QA for research studies prior to public launchSupport in scale and task development as well as study releasesHelp maintain and update the library of assessmentsCreate JSON files for new assessments (both scales and active tasks) using existing task schema (experience with JSON and/or Survey JS preferred or willingness to learn)Improve the existing library of assessments by updating it according to standard implementation practicesPrepare studies for release: create research protocols using our online platform, test studies in our mobile application, implement fixes in the study JSONCollect information and prepare descriptive summaries of standardized scales and scoring protocolsLiterature reviews and/or research into appropriate assessments/scales/measures for protocols related to psychology/neuroscience and other topicsResearch protocol design and/or edits including methodologySupporting data analysis and/or visualizationsScience communication (in layperson terms) for public research studiesPossible coding related to data analysis and/or software development for students with such skillsGather, understand and summarize research data from scholarly sourcesGeneral research and summary reports into various subject areas to support the research teamWhat We Expect From You
Excellent writing and communication skillsBe in a research-oriented undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. program related to mental health, cognitive science, or psychologyA team-oriented attitude where no task is too small or too bigSome technical background or willingness to learnBasic knowledge of statistics (familiarity with Python is a plus)
