Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time Contract)
About Us: We are a dynamic Demand Generation team focused on driving company lead generation through impactful in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. We offer a fast-paced environment with never a dull moment, allowing team members to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and turn intangible ideas into tangible outcomes.
The Role: We are seeking an eager, creative, and process-oriented Marketing Coordinator for a part-time contract role. Reporting directly to the hiring manager, you will support the Events team in executing and managing various partner-focused initiatives.
Schedule: Fixed part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. The ideal structure is two 7-hour days (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with an unpaid 1-hour break) and one 5-hour day (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with an unpaid 1-hour break).
Start Date: Mid-August, allowing for overlap training with the outgoing coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and coordinate at least 3 high-quality events per quarter, including Q4 masterclasses, hybrid events, conferences, and an upcoming golf invitational in October.
- Research and source event vendors, promotional swag, and materials.
- Build strong rapport with the go-to-market team, functioning in an occasionally client-facing capacity.
- Manage event logistics to stay organized, ensuring high-level execution and proper post-event follow-up.
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing or events. Recent graduates with relevant internship, volunteer, or campus club experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated hands-on experience assisting with trade shows, conferences, or related events.
Strong process-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
High level of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and strong initiative.
Creative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Nice-to-Haves
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Salesforce, Zoom, and Google Suite.
- Prior experience acting in a client-facing capacity.
- More than 3 years of event coordination experience.
