- Serve as the strategic lead for products and services, collaborating directly with product management and business units to define go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product offerings.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on the market and competitors within the vertical space.
- Define, plan, and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, working closely with product managers to develop training materials for sales and channels, and collaborate with other marketing groups for key initiatives such as digital campaigns and events.
- Develop and maintain a company-wide competitive landscape to equip sales and product management with insights into strengths and weaknesses.
- Create and implement strategies for gathering insights on features and services to support product management and roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with sales enablement teams to design and deliver company-wide sales and client experience training and assessments.
- Develop pricing and packaging strategies for products and services (including SKU creation and management) through market analysis and competitive benchmarking
- Establish thought leadership externally in product marketing and the capital markets through contributions to industry publications, speaking engagements, and professional networking.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to synthesize and promote compelling messages to both external and internal audiences.
- Partner with senior leadership (GBU, Director/VP Sales, Director/VP Product Management) to assess product success and define company-wide strategies for growth.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales teams, and external audiences.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in SaaS product marketing, product management, or content marketing.
- Strong ownership of strategy for product marketing and project management.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in capital markets is highly desirable.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering on key initiatives.
- Curious, proactive, and collaborative with strong leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and establish thought leadership in the industry.
- Prior experience working for high growth SaaS companies of at least 20-50M in ARR
