The Role
We are seeking a proven UX Writer to join our growing Product Design team. You'll be a self-motivated expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key collaborator, you will play an instrumental role in crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly copy that enhances the user experience across the Q4 Platform. You’ll partner closely with designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the development process, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for our clients in the capital markets space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling microcopy and in-app help content that guides users through the platform’s functionalities and features.
  • Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure design and copy are cohesive, adhering to brand voice and user needs.
  • Partner with Product Managers to develop a content strategy and style guide for WalkMe content.
  • Collaborate and participate in user testing sessions to gain a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behavior. Translate these insights into clear, concise, and user-friendly copy that addresses user goals.
  • Review and edit in-app help and onboarding content created by Product Managers and Designers, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with user needs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, collaborating with Product Managers to guarantee clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on UX writing best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Writer or related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing strong writing skills, user empathy, and a focus on user-centered design principles, design processes, interactions, and accessibility standards.
  • Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for various digital touchpoints (UI, microcopy, Help Center articles, in-app help content).
  • Championing user needs through active feedback gathering and collaborative problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with WalkMe for digital adoption content creation.
  • Experience within the B2B SaaS industry with a strong understanding of SaaS-specific metrics and can leverage those insights to inform decisions.
  • Solid understanding of user research methodologies and their application to UX writing.
  • A self-directed and high-impact contributor who thrives in taking the initiative to deliver exceptional UX writing consistently with minimal supervision.
  • A UX writing mastermind that leverages data to drive decisions that shape user-centric design choices. Independent thinking seamlessly blends with clear communication, ensuring their insights resonate and drive alignment across all stakeholders.

Bonus points

  • Demonstrated history of success crafting user-friendly copy for fin-tech products.
  • Basic technical experience related to HTML and CSS.
