About the team
Proto’s team is extremely global with 80% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Colour) and 50% female management working across 15+ countries. We’re a remote team of self-starting and entrepreneurial SaaS engineers, operations and growth professionals. Our remote team follows established processes for cross-cultural and timezone collaboration, with opportunities to periodic in-person work opportunities.

Job Summary

As the Head of Growth at Proto, you will be spearheading our Sales and Marketing teams, driving the strategic direction and execution of growth initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in scaling our solutions, focusing on the financial, health, and government sectors. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new opportunities, enhancing our market presence, and ensuring sustained growth in line with our company's vision and objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in growth, sales, or marketing roles within the tech industry, preferably in customer support automation or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful growth strategies for B2B SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of Product Qualified Leads (PQLs) and experience in developing strategies to rank, nurture and convert PQLs into customers.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Strong background in product-driven content marketing for LinkedIn, including strategy development, content creation, distribution, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to map and understand the customer journey, identifying key touchpoints for optimisation and conversion.
  • Proficiency in using analytics and metrics to guide strategy and measure performance.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience in international markets, particularly in regions where Proto is looking to expand.
  • Previous experience with similar technology, ideally with experience in chatbots, ticketing systems, live chat, and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with financial, health and government sectors and understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities. Existing network in these industries is a plus.
