Technical Product Manager

(Canada - 100% Remote)

Procurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for the mid-market. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. We’re looking for a talented and team-driven Technical Product Manager to join us on our journey.

About the role:

As a Technical Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for our Public API and Integrations products. These solutions enable our customers to connect Procurify into their important workflows and systems—Accounting Platforms, ERPs and HRIS platforms. You will be working on a squad of amazing, empowered people who specialize in development and design. Together with your passion for business and platform building, you will grow and take our financial products to the next level.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Enhance Product Capabilities. You will execute the product strategy and roadmap for our Public API and Integrations products.

    • 50% adoption of our native integrations

  • Be a Procurify Platform Expert. You will be working closely with our Platform team and our product development teams to ensure that all our key features are built with an API-first mindset.

    • 100% of native integration functionality can be achieved via Public API

    • Increase the number of new features launched with public API endpoints

  • Identify opportunities for Business Outcomes. Work with stakeholders to analyze and understand the major gaps and opportunities in our market. Cut through the complexity of fintech solutions to identify 10x opportunities.

    • Identify 3-5 high-priority market gaps annually

  • Drive the Product Life Cycle. Set a roadmap to create, shape, and ship key product functionality with success metrics that align with business objectives.

    • Decrease cycle time for integrations and API delivery

  • Lead Product Execution. Act as the liaison between our business and development teams to identify market opportunities, drive the reduction in the time-to-market, and launch completed products to the end-user.

    • 15% improvement in development team velocity

  • Support Custom Integrations. Work with our Professional Services team to build a custom integration strategy supporting the development of bespoke integrations to support customer needs.

    • Increase workflows supported by Professional Services integrations

Who we’re looking for:

  • 3 + years of product management experience in fintech or payments-related industry

  • Experience supporting internal engineering teams as a technical product manager

  • Experience working with Integrations Platform as a Service providers (eg Workato, Codat, Tray, Zapier)

  • Familiarity with API documentation tools and hosting platforms (eg OpenAPI, Redocly)

  • An understanding of software architecture and its relationship to shipping public API products

  • Background in Fintech or ERP/Accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Netsuite, Sage, MSD, Zapier/Tray/Workato (web connectors as a service), Merge, etc.)

  • Track record of experimenting and successfully launching products at scale

  • Track record of identifying and prioritizing high-impact initiatives to drive business outcomes

  • Demonstrated experience in full product development lifecycle ownership: from vision setting, to strategic alignment, ideation, test, build, launch and iterate.

  • Extraordinary analytical, critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to cut through complexity to problem solve.

  • Excellent at establishing cross-functional relationships with strong communication and leadership skills

  • A strong desire to understand the “why” behind actions and to truly understand the core problem within every opportunity

  • An adaptable, humble and empathetic attitude when it comes to managing projects

  • Base Salary Range: $112,500 - $125,000 (This range is dependent on experience and not inclusive of any bonus, commission, benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
