As we scale, we're building the preventative health system of the future—and we’re seeking an innovative, strategic, and operationally exceptional Associate Vice President, Radiology to lead our radiologist practice and help shape the next chapter of proactive healthcare.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Associate Vice President, Radiology will serve as a clinical and operational leader, overseeing our radiology practice across all locations. You will lead a distributed team of radiologists, radiology practice managers, and medical directors, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, consistency, and excellence across clinical operations. What You’ll Do
- Leadership & Operations
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to the radiology team, including radiologists, practice managers, and regional medical directors.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and operational workflows to ensure adequate coverage and optimized patient throughput.
- Implement and maintain high-performance standards across the practice through data-driven performance management and regular feedback cycles.
- Ensure compliance with credentialing, licensing, and malpractice coverage across jurisdictions.
- Serve as MRI Medical Director at select Prenuvo locations as needed.
- Clinical Excellence & Quality Assurance
- Lead clinical quality initiatives, including peer reviews, discrepancy audits, and ongoing education.
- Partner with QA and HR to educate and coach radiologists based on quality findings and feedback.
- Maintain a personal clinical load (30%) through image interpretation and patient consultations to stay engaged and lead by example.
- Growth & Innovation
- Partner with internal teams to shape and scale Prenuvo’s unique model of care, including standardizing care pathways, reporting templates, and AI integration.
- Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, collaborating with CX, product, and marketing teams.
- Represent Prenuvo externally at conferences, in publications, and in press engagements as a thought leader in preventative imaging.
- Talent & Culture
- Oversee all aspects of radiologist recruiting, training credentialing, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation across the clinical practice.
Support succession planning and leadership development within the radiology team.
What You’ll Bring
- M.D. or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution; board certification in Radiology required
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a multi-site radiology practice, health system, or health tech company
- Proven experience leading and scaling distributed clinical teams
- Strong business acumen, ideally with formal training in business, public health, or health administration
- Expertise in project management (PMP/Six Sigma certification a plus) and change management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire trust and lead through influence
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a passion for building in high-growth, mission-driven environments
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in EMRs, PACS, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and healthcare IT systems
- Prior experience in a healthcare start-up or innovation-focused organization strongly preferred

- The base salary for this role is $350,000 in local currency, depending upon experience
