About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience of our clinics across North America, have allowed us to lead the charge against “we caught it too late again.” Prenuvo operates preventative screening clinics in Vancouver, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Houston, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, New York City, Buffalo, Bethesda, Chicago, and Atlanta, with more clinics in North America and internationally in the next 2 years.

We are looking for a Vice President, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Medical Affairs to spearhead efforts in demonstrating the clinical and economic value of our cutting-edge whole-body MRI technology. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can craft, execute, and optimize comprehensive HEOR strategies while building key external partnerships to advance the healthcare industry's shift towards proactive, preventive medicine. You will play a critical role in translating scientific data into compelling economic narratives, accelerating product adoption, market access, and eventual reimbursement of Prenuvo’s pioneering diagnostic technologies.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Architect and drive the overarching HEOR vision that aligns with Prenuvo’s business goals, shaping the future of healthcare diagnostics.
    • Lead the creation of robust economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact, claims-based analysis) that underscore the clinical and financial value of Prenuvo’s technology to healthcare systems, payers, and policymakers.
    • Partner closely with product development, clinical affairs, and commercial teams to integrate HEOR insights into market access strategies and global reimbursement pathways.
  • Collaborative Research Strategy:
    • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with top-tier academic medical centers, research institutions, and industry thought leaders to drive high-impact, collaborative research initiatives.
    • Leverage Prenuvo’s vast MRI data repository to fuel groundbreaking research that addresses both clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Oversee and guide both internal and external research projects, ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality, and impactful scientific and economic outcomes.
    • Lead the development of research protocols, timelines, and execution plans, while proactively resolving any issues that may impede progress.
  • Evidence Generation:
    • Drive the design, execution, and dissemination of rigorous research initiatives, including observational studies, health outcomes analysis, and the development of Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measures.
    • Serve as a thought leader in evidence generation, enhancing Prenuvo’s market positioning through the dissemination of compelling health economics data in top-tier journals, conferences, and regulatory submissions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Communicate complex HEOR findings and strategic insights to a diverse array of stakeholders, from executive leadership and external payers to patient advocacy groups and key opinion leaders.
    • Develop concise and impactful value dossiers, white papers, and scientific publications that articulate the economic benefits of Prenuvo’s technology.
  • Regulatory and Market Access:
    • Lead the integration of HEOR strategies into global regulatory and market access initiatives, ensuring all activities align with national and international healthcare regulations and reimbursement frameworks.
    • Formulate product lifecycle strategies that consider both clinical efficacy and economic impact, supporting market access and payer engagement across diverse geographies.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and mentor a world-class HEOR team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that drives scientific excellence.
    • Inspire your team to challenge the status quo, advancing the role of health economics in the rapidly evolving preventative medicine landscape.
  • Medical Affairs Leadership:
    • Provide expert medical and scientific insights to shape core medical affairs activities, including healthcare provider engagement, clinical data generation, and strategic educational initiatives.
    • Lead the oversight of clinical studies, ensuring the highest standards of scientific integrity while guiding the interpretation and communication of safety and efficacy data.

What You’ll Bring

  • Educational Background: Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in Economics, Health Economics, (Pharmaco)epidemiology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of hands-on experience in health economics and outcomes research within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
    • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex HEOR projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of global health economics, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes, and a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes.
    • Mastery in economic modeling and outcomes research methodologies, paired with experience in navigating global market access strategies.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, drive strategic vision, and foster a culture of innovation.
    • Adept at building sustainable relationships with C-level executives, external stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders.
  • Communication:
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex HEOR research into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiences.
    • Proficiency in negotiation, influencing key stakeholders, and presenting value propositions to external decision-makers.
  • Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Hands-on experience with Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, managing Personal Health Information (PHI), and ensuring compliance with ethical standards in human subject research.

Nice to Have:
