Your Role at a Glance

The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, extensive experience in CRM data migrations, specifically Zoho and Salesforce, and the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related challenges. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a mix of technical proficiency, analytical skills, and cross functional collaboration to ensure seamless transitions of critical business data.

How You’ll Drive Success

  • Plan and Execute Data Migrations: Lead data migration projects from Zoho CRM to Salesforce (and vice versa), ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business disruption.
  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Analyze, map, and transform data between source and target CRM systems, ensuring consistency, completeness, and correctness.
  • ETL Process Development: Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to automate and optimize data migration.
  • Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data validation, deduplication, and cleansing to ensure high data quality and integrity post-migration.
  • Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve data inconsistencies, missing fields, and other migration-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with IT, business analysts, CRM administrators, and end-users to gather requirements, validate data needs, and communicate project status.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Develop detailed documentation for data migration processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides; provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that all data migrations adhere to data governance policies, compliance regulations, and security best practices.

The Talents We’re Seeking

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Salesforce or other relevant CRM platforms preferred.

Required Skills

  • At least four (4) years of proven experience in data migration between CRM systems, particularly Zoho and Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of data migration tools and techniques, such as MuleSoft, Excel, or native Salesforce migration tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
  • Experience working with APIs and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Apex) for data automation.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, and data mapping best practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and integration solutions (e.g., Azure).

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
