Description
- Elevate our visual identity by designing with precision, personality, and a clear understanding of our customer.
- Support modular design systems by building and maintaining templates, layouts, and creative systems across email, social, web, and paid channels — enabling creative to scale efficiently without compromising quality or brand consistency.
- Partner closely with marketers, product designers and ecommerce teams to interpret direction, execute thoughtfully, and ask strategic questions that ensure every asset aligns with brand standards, performance goals, and creative intent.
- Develop and evolve brand design systems, including typography, colour, and layout templates that ensure consistency across teams and channels.
- Bring campaigns to life and tell stories through design by turning creative briefs into visuals that feel fresh, emotional, and distinctly Poppy Barley.
- Support brand photoshoots through shot list development, location scouting, prop and set design, and on-set coordination and art direction.
- A creative thinker with strong taste, refined visual instincts, and a sharp eye for detail.
- Deeply familiar with fashion, lifestyle, or elevated consumer brands
- Comfortable taking initiative, owning projects, and working both independently and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Passionate about design that is not only beautiful, but purposeful, balancing storytelling, brand building, and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field preferred
- 4–7 years of design experience, preferably in a consumer brand, agency, or ecommerce setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print work
- Demonstrated proficiency in design best practices and principles, branding, composition, layout and typography.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva
- Experience designing for Shopify or Klaviyo is a plus
- Bonus: Motion design, video editing, or photography direction experience
- All hands on deck: this is a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves kind of team, and we're looking for someone who’s ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
- From time to time, this may include physical tasks such as lifting boxes, working in stores, or supporting in the warehouse during busy periods or campaign launches.
