The Projects team:

The success of our wireless sensing innovations and their impact on daily life relies heavily on our Projects team. This team is a critical bridge between our internal team and external clients and partners, ensuring that their needs are being met and that projects are delivered with excellence.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will:

  • Be an industry expert, championing Pontosense’s product and technology.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, including senior and executive-level stakeholders.

  • Own all aspects of the project by developing project plans, schedules, timelines, resource management, and budget.

  • Lead communications on project progress, updates, and risks to clients and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

  • Strive for continuous improvement, working alongside our technical development team.

  • You have proven success in managing multiple client-facing projects from end to end.

  • You are a critical thinker and problem-solver, always paying close attention to detail.

  • You pride yourself on your organizational capabilities, consistently working to present your work in a thoughtful and effective way.

What you can expect in our process:

Step 1: Selected candidates will meet with our Senior Growth Manager, Kate Chen, for a 30-minute Teams interview to learn more about your experience, whether full-time, co-ops, or side hustles, and what you’re looking for in the next step in your career. Do some research on Pontosense - why are you interested in working here?

Step 2: You’ll meet with Georgia Deacon, the Project Engineering Manager and hiring manager for this role, for a 45-minute Teams interview.

Step 3: You’ll meet with Muxin Ma, our COO, for a 60-minute Teams interview.

Step 4: You will meet with Alex Qi, our CEO, for a 30-minute Teams interview. If you are local, this interview will be in person at our Waterloo office.
