As a Financial System Analyst, you will be the first person in the Finance & Accounting team dedicated to the optimization of our tools, focusing especially on our ERP system FinancialForce (Certinia). You will be tasked with diving into our system and processes and become a specialist of optimization and automation. You will work both independently and with various internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • System Optimization:
    • Identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance functionality.
    • Manage and lead digital transformation projects that improve processes for the Finance function within key workflows such as billings, revenue, month-end close, financial reporting, etc.
  • System maintenance : Ensure the ERP system is up to date. This will be in fact one of the first projects that you will be working on.
  • Customization: Develop customized solutions to meet the needs of the Finance & Accounting team.
  • Integration: Seamlessly integrate ERP software with other tools in our tech stack.
  • Documentation:
    • Lead the development of robust system documentation and support financial and internal controls and audits.
    • Create and maintain an inventory of core finance processes, systems, and tools
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated on ERP trends and upgrades, including but not limited to AI transformation. Recommend continuous improvements to optimize internal business processes, tools and practices.
    • Quickly and thoroughly learn the software through training courses and personal exploration of existing software and documentation
  • User Support: Be the go-to person for ERP-related queries.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ year of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting and process optimization deliverables
  • Bachelor in Information Technology and/or Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent
  • Proficiency in French and English is required
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of SalesForce and/or FinancialForce (Certinia) would be an asset
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for details and clarity of information.
  • Proactive and Quick Learner: Aptitude for learning new methodologies, tools, and technologies, while taking initiative to anticipate needs and stay ahead of tasks.
  • Effective Time and Project Management Skills: Capable of organizing and managing priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
