Poka has become a catalyst for digital transformation and manufacturing leaders such as Nestlé, Bosch, Kraft and Danone trust us with their transition to Industry 4.0. 🏭

As a Sales Development Representative at Poka, you will spearhead initial contact with leads across a wide range of personas specifically for net new potential accounts. The SDR is in charge of top-of-funnel multi-channel activity to build a robust sales pipeline for Poka’s Account Executives. In this role, you will leverage our tool stack along with marketing and sales strategies to engage those leads and showcase the value Poka brings to the manufacturing industry.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying High-Value Prospects: Your expertise will lie in identifying promising decision-makers for companies that stand to benefit significantly from Poka's cutting-edge solutions.
  • INBOUND - Converting MQLs to SQLs: Speed to lead is the name of the game. You will quickly action inbound leads from various sources with the appropriate sequence. Through a combination of discovery calls and meticulous follow-ups, you will transform MQLs into SQLs.
  • OUTBOUND - Proactive Outreach: You will build lead lists for various companies (determined based on current strategies) to proactively reach out to understand the challenges, bottlenecks, and roadblocks they are facing, and consultatively align Poka’s solutions to the outcomes they wish to achieve and secure meetings.
  • Qualifying Opportunities: Using a consultative approach during meetings and phone calls, you’ll qualify leads and companies while documenting all associated activities, tasks, and information shared in Outreach and our CRM (SFDC).
  • Seamless Hand-off: Communicating and collaborating with our AEs, you will schedule and participate in hand-off meetings, ensuring a frictionless and efficient transition for our prospective clients.
  • Monthly Quota Achievement: Ensuring you have enough quality leads in sequence, you will maintain consistent activity levels, day by day and week by week, to give yourself a path to hitting quota consistently every month.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proficiency in English and German is a must.
  • Experience working in DACH countries.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales development experience in a B2B environment (ideally within the software industry).
  • Experience with sales tech stack, e.g., SFDC, Hubspot, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LeadIQ, 6Sense, DemandBase.
  • Time Management and Prioritization skills: Knowing what to focus on and when will allow you to stay on top of the work that will lead to success.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Driven by an appetite for learning, you invest time to master our product and continually refine your sales development skills.
  • Accountability: You know it’s up to you to consistently achieve quota, maintain high-quality outreach, accurately manage data, continuously improve, collaborate effectively, and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Team Player: You are driven to succeed and do this by collaborating with your fellow SDRs, cross-functional team members, and your manager.
  • Resourceful Problem Solver: Your resourcefulness shines as you creatively tackle challenges in your daily activities, giving you the edge in prospecting.
