Who you’ll work with:
You will be part of our growing team of top Engineers with the ability to directly impact the success of the Acute and Payer organization. You’ll report to one of our Managers of Software Engineering and will work closely with our Product, Quality Assurance and DevOps teams.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
· Develop & support software in unique and innovative ways
· Sprint meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives
· Complex integrations with distributed systems
· Assure availability and scalability of solutions
· Support peers in implementing new software solutions
· Translate business requirements into real-world technology solutions
· Committing code related to assigned tickets
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
· 3+ years of experience developing software professionally
· Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE (preferred)
· Experience working in an Agile software development environment
· Demonstrated Java coding proficiency
· Experience with Spring & REST services
· Ability to generate necessary automated testing (unit, integration, PACT, e2e)
· Familiarity with application containers – Docker, Kubernetes
· Web UI coding experience – Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
· DB integration experience – MySQL, Hibernate, myBatis, Spring Data
· Knowledge of IntelliJ and GIT repositories
Bonus skills:
Generative AI Code Assistants - Use of Generative AI Code Assistants (e.g. Github Copilot) and knowledge of latest Generative AI Model capabilities would be an asset
