The Principal Data Annotation and Clinical AI Lead is responsible for managing data labeling and other projects, resolving clinical data interpretation disputes, and ensuring quality in AI model development.

Key Responsibility:

  • Oversee teams and lead projects involving data labeling, SME evaluation of models, and other complex human-data intensive tasks ensuring timely and correct results.
  • As the senior clinical adjudicator, drive alignment and resolve disputes and discrepancies among clinical subject matter experts regarding clinical data and results in AI modeling.
  • Use extensive clinical expertise to deliver critical insights and guidance to product and research staff to support model experience design and development.
  • Interact with customers, research staff, product and other stakeholders to support the team in discovering requirements and to educate technical and non-technical audiences about complex clinical aspects of AI solutions, building trust and ensuring understanding and proper application of insights to create high value AI solutions.
  • Advocates for the quality and clinical accuracy of AI solutions by collaborating with technical teams such as senior model development researchers, Product Leaders and AI UXR/UXD researchers.
  • Anticipates potential challenges in representing clinical concepts in AI models and oversees solution creation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • RN Degree and valid current license.
  • 5+ years in Management such as Director of Nursing or Operations Management. 12+ years of Nursing experience.
  • Healthcare informatics knowledge or equivalent technical skills/background.
  • 3+ years project management experience, including effectively managing teams and contract resources, delivering results that meet or exceed expectations on schedule.
  • Experience and familiarity in using PCC products.
  • Experience and familiarity with using data labeling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master new software, concepts, technologies and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, effectively manage, and drive consensus among other SMEs of varying specialties and levels of expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate and to communicate effectively across functions and levels with internal and external customers, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform extensive data manipulation tasks on a computer for extended periods of time when needed.
