Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) segment is an innovative, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of markets and buyers, responsible for developing and leading the go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of SaaS solutions. With an expert understanding of buying audiences and their needs, the successful candidate for this role acts as a subject matter expert and portfolio evangelist who transfers knowledge about the SNF market, buyers and product/s across marketing and sales functions. This critical role is the glue that binds our business and product strategy to the marketing programs and tactics needed to achieve measurable results.
As a Sr. Product Marketing professional, you understand our market and buyers, including how they make their buying decisions. You have the critical ability to grasp and translate product capabilities into business benefits to develop and lead product launch and marketing programs that increase awareness and drive demand. You are obsessed with tracking performance and have the data to prove what’s working and what is not. You back up strategic insights with evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.
In addition to working with the Marketing team, you will regularly collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product Management, Customer Success and others). It is a balancing act that requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to dive in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and customer research to gather data about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing process for the product/s, including key buyer and influencer roles
  • Develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with the buying audience
  • Work with business and product leaders to define the market opportunity for product/s; perform segmentation and targeting exercises that identify the segments with the highest propensity to buy
  • Lead product introduction/launch planning including development and measurement of KPIs
  • Collaborate with marketing peers to drive development of a variety of content including sales decks, solution sheets, customer references, thought leadership, campaign and other assets
  • Assist in product naming, pricing and packaging by providing market, competitive and customer insights
  • Provide market intelligence and buyer insights to drive the development of campaign strategies that create demand
  • Collaborate with Sales/Sales Enablement teams to enable Sales with clear value propositions, messaging and tools

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree; Advanced degree or equivalent experience desired
  • 7+ years Product/Portfolio Marketing experience in B2B SaaS solutions
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Population Health, Health Information Technology, Acute, Payor and/or other healthcare SaaS solutions
  • Previous experience managing a small team.
  • Proven ability to create value propositions and messaging strategies, and link product launches to organizational themes and goals
  • Proven ability to develop strategies for creating pipeline for new offerings as well as upsell, cross-sell and account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships
  • Strong marketing expertise combined with strong business acumen that seeks and acts on market insights, financial performance and other indicators
  • Exceptional communication, story-telling and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Critical thinker with excellent time management, interpersonal, decision making, and organizational skills
  • A “roll up the sleeves” attitude; a self-starting orientation with the intense drive to “make things happen"
  • Team player and strong collaborator with a variety of people and teams. Great at building relationships and maintaining diplomacy in times of stress
  • Polished professional with an enthusiastic attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments, with an ability to adapt to and help lead change.
