- Through collaboration with BU GMs and Product leadership this role and team will be responsible for informing pipeline, sales forecasts and roadmap based on research, market intelligence, and customer sentiment.
- Building and delivering on forecast accuracy and predictability for the BU, serving as the comprehensive market POV with respect to Sales & Product.
- This team will analyze and project future competitive product positions; align these positions to product strategies and sales tactics as appropriate.
- This leader is responsible for driving and designing a Demand team inclusive of field sales support structures that can deliver targeted, strategic and agile marketing campaigns, quality leads and strong ROI for the BU in deep collaboration with Sales/CSM and Commercial Ops to maximize the value of the campaign investments and ensure alignment.
- Working closely with Business Unit leadership, Product Management and Sales to define and design responsibilities and collaboration models across the respective teams. This role will carry a heavy team development responsibility as we work to build the Product Marketing Manager capability for PointClickCare.
- This leader will also bring Product Lifecycle Management best practice to address market and product needs at various stages of maturity to inform product and technology roadmaps respectively.
- The Portfolio Marketing leader will work effectively and in partnership with the greater marketing organization as well as Customer Success, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal and IT.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 7-10 years experience in software and/or hosted service in a senior product, industry or marketing strategy capacity.
- Extensive analytical skills and PLM experience proven to inform and improve forecast accuracy, sales velocity and product market fit. Strong competitive analysis and product positioning skills a must.
- Strong relationship development skills and the ability to prioritize efforts across multiple product lines and market segments is a must.
- Understands the difference between managing and leading teams – possesses the skills and desire to influence and motivate people to deliver their best.
- Personal drive and desire to keep ahead of industry and innovation trends in the technology, healthcare, marketing and demand gen industries.
- MBA preferred, BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
