ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Director, Product Commercialization you will develop and implement processes to bring new products/ features to market that our Partners want, make us money and scale fast. You will decrease our time to revenue by successfully commercializing newly launched products.
You will build trust, increase alignment and ensure accountability.
As part of an integrated product portfolio, you are building a new discipline, including playbooks to commercialize new products and mechanisms to track performance post launch.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Reporting to the VP, Product Commercialization, you will:
- Direct the best course of action to bridge the gap between product development and market introduction, ensure product, client, pricing, legal, & marketing readiness, endorsed by SMEs.
- Solve complex problems (in an ambiguous environment) and make decisions for specific product initiatives, challenge where necessary, balance trade-offs & guide execution.
- You will maximize commercial performance, establish KPIs, create new systems/ dashboards to measure performance and capture findings, in order to, make compelling recommendations.
- Oversee customized client-facing materials during early pitch phase, apply sanctioned models, sanctioned product positioning and ensure high quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, gather feedback across teams, synthesize into briefs/ recommendations to product development, marketing and business strategy on features, prioritization and to make pitch adjustments.
- Participate with Senior management, contribute to Product Development roadmaps, incorporating POVs from SMEs (Product Marketing, Finance, Account Team leads) to ensure alignment and long-term impact.
- Create “lite business cases” and/ or Fast-Track Recos for our Core products. You will have access to a resource and matrix team to support you in the execution.
SKILL SET:
- Strong Commercial Acumen & judgment based on 7-10 years of leadership & direct industry related experience (including client-facing roles, GTM plans, new product launches).
- Experience (or equivalent experience) in one or several of the following is a strong asset: product commercialization and/ or development, marketing in tech or B2B, business development/ sales, cross-functional leadership, change management, loyalty, ancillary revenue, global experience (beyond North Am).
- Results-Driven - Focus on financial goals without compromising quality.
- Strategic Thinker with the ability to solve complex problems independently, and implement change successfully aligned with Plusgrade’s long term strategy.
- Relationship Builder & Collaborator - working with a broad set of stakeholders.
- Skilled negotiator - finding consensus from multiple stakeholder, reconciling views to drive results.
- Analytical, comfortable with financial models, forecasts, pricing concepts.
- Excellent Communication skills - written & verbal.
- BA (Business/ Marketing/ Commerce), MBA and/ or equivalent work experience.
