We are seeking a Data Engineering Team Lead to manage and lead a team of data engineers in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing an agile engineering team, prioritizing workflows, working with stakeholders to draft requirements, and providing technical oversight. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of data products to internal and external stakeholders.

As the Data Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing engineering development sprints, providing code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, and providing guidance on best practices to the team. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate those requirements into data infrastructure solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure that data infrastructure and pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

• Manage a team of data engineers to develop and deliver data products

• Prioritize workflows and ensure efficient management of development sprints

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate those requirements into data products and solutions

• Provide technical oversight and guidance to the team

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data infrastructure and pipelines

• Work with other members of the engineering team to ensure that data infrastructure and pipelines are scalable, reliable, and efficient

• Continuously improve data engineering practices, tools, and processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and analysts

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture

• Experience managing an agile data engineering team

• Experience in data product lifecycle management, data infrastructure management, data architecture, and data pipelines

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS

• Experience with SQL and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, and/or MySQL

• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment

• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Apache Beam

• Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
