About the Role
We are searching for a Contract Manager who will work directly with the PM and Deputy PM. This individual will work with management and the team to ensure excellent performance on current contracts as well as ultimately pursuing new contracts (GSA schedules). We expect this Manager to develop pricing models and work with the PM/DPM on vendor and prime contractor relationship management strategies. This person should be an excellent negotiator and manage both T&M and FFP contracts.
Responsibilities
- 2/3 years experience with government technology products and services contracting, especially preparing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time & Materials (T&M) contract bids.
- Experience with Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC's), SEWP, CIO SP3, and GSA BPAs preferred.
- Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and State, Local, and Education (SLED) contracting regulations.
- Experience negotiating and monitoring IT services contracts to large prime contractors.
- US Citizenship required.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with proposal requirements, including Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) before submission to government.
- Ensure the team is identifying and meeting contractual requirements.
- Ensuring that all legal documentation is up-to-date and correctly filled out and stored.
- Communicate with government, as required, including proposal submissions, confirmation of receipt, bid/no-bid decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Represent company when signing RFQ and task award documentation.
- Negotiating the specific terms and conditions of the contract or task order.
- Track contract milestones and work with PM/DPM to ensure proper actions are occurring (extensions, deliverable due dates, monthly status reporting).
- Help with pricing strategies and managing relationships with prime contractors/vendors.
