We are seeking a qualified VMware Technical Support Resource - System Administrator, Level 2, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering, installing, configuring, and optimizing VMware environments, particularly vCloud Director Suite, vCloud Application Center Suite, vRealize Application Center Suite, NSX, vMotion, vSphere, and ESXi. The candidate must possess a valid security clearance at the level of SECRET and demonstrate proficiency in scripting and automation of VMware components. Additionally, familiarity with Microsoft PowerShell, experience in software and hardware deployments, source code version control systems, documentation, conducting presentations, providing technical training, and utilizing Representational State Transfers (REST) services is required.

Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: The candidate must hold a valid security clearance at the level of SECRET
• Technical Expertise: The candidate must have hands-on experience in administering, installing, configuring, tuning, testing, and optimizing the following VMware components:
  • vCloud Director Suite
  • vCloud Application Center Suite
  • vRealize Application Center Suite
  • NSX
  • vMotion
  • vSphere
  • ESXi
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in conducting scripting and automation of VMware components is essential for this role.
• Microsoft PowerShell: Strong experience in using Microsoft PowerShell for managing VMware environments.
• Deployment Experience: The candidate should have a proven track record of performing software and hardware deployments across multiple domains supporting the system development life cycle (SDLC) stages.
• Version Control Systems: Familiarity with source code version control systems is required.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to document processes and configurations effectively.
• Presentation and Training: Experience in conducting presentations and providing training to technical staff.
• REST Services: Familiarity with Representational State Transfers (REST) services is preferred.
