JOB DESCRIPTION: Associate Content Specialist

FactSet is a leader in providing research and analytical tools to finance professionals. FactSet offers instant access to accurate financial data and analytics around the world. FactSet clients combine hundreds of databases from industry-leading suppliers into a single powerful information system.

Content Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of financial data products. This role involves product development and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be solving complex problems, collaborating across teams and working independently while making a meaningful impact on client workflows.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation & Testing
    • Assist in onboarding new content across Workstation and Feeds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Manage end-to-end processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Project Coordination & Execution
    • Ensure successful delivery of integrated datasets.
    • Maintain project reporting pages with up-to-date statuses and metrics.
    • Update Jira tickets regularly to reflect progress and roadblocks.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Coordinate with internal teams such as Engineering, Strategy, Product, and client support teams.
    • Manage cross-departmental relationships and set clear expectations on project deliverables.
  • Operational Support & Issue Resolution
    • Provide technical support and resolve data-related issues with engineering and client support teams
    • Support deployment and integration of new tools, ensuring workflow compatibility.
  • Quality control & documentation
  • Ensure that quality parameters are up to date and document the methodology for all calculations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic SQL knowledge for data exploration and debugging.
    • Expertise in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Logical problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
    • Highly independent and self-starter
  • Project & People Management:
    • Experience managing small to medium-scale projects.
    • Ability to mentor and guide teams effectively.
  • Domain Expertise:
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field + 2 years project management experience
    • Knowledge of indices, funds, or ETFs, Fundamental and Estimates data
    • Strong analytical mindset and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

ELIGIBILITY – Internal Candidates

  • Current Management level should be “55 – Specialist” or “60 - Senior Associate” or equivalent
  • Employee should not have been promoted in the last 6 months
  • Employee should not have been on PIP in last 3 quarters
  • Last 3 ratings should be at least "Achieved Goals"
  • Minimum current designation tenure is 18 months
  • Minimum Tenure is 24 months
