We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team for the summer. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will support various functions within our GRC team, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our security processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in managing the ticketing queue under guidance, ensuring inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in the assessment of security architecture reviews by coordinating meetings and documentation to support proactive security measures.
  • Support the team in maintaining and organizing critical documentation, ensuring it is accessible and up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance compliance efforts and promote best practices across the organization.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment

The budgeted amount for this position is $33 an hour.
