As a legal operations specialist, you will be a key architect of our legal tech ecosystem. You will assist with implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the systems and tools that power our legal operations - from contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms to matter tracking, knowledge management, and data analytics. Your role is equal parts strategist, technologist, and operational partner.
JOB SUMMARY
FactSet Legal Department seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Operations Specialist. This role will work closely with the Legal Operations team and will assist with managing and optimizing our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, legal processes/workflows and collaborating on Legal technology initiatives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with managing the company's client and vendor Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems ensuring efficiency and compliance with the goal to improve efficiencies of CLM tools. Identify and implement improvements to legal processes and workflows to enhance productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and teams to integrate and optimize legal technology initiatives to ensure alignment between legal and business needs. Complete complex tasks such as managing and coordinating with legal team and stakeholders, responding to questions across the Firm, and using data analytics tools relevant to legal service environments.
- Assist with evaluating, recommending, and implementing new legal technology tools to streamline operations. Assist in creating, updating, and managing training materials, templates, and playbooks.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for legal technology platforms. Assist with transitioning and maintaining legacy systems as part of modernization efforts.
- Maintain and analyze legal operations data to drive insights and process improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Any Bachelor's degree or experience in relevant business areas for a minimum of four years with a demonstrated history working in a corporate environment.
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive operational improvements.
- Understanding of basic legal concepts related to contracts, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and managing multiple priorities
- Experience in legal operations, contract management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in corporate legal departments or legal operations teams is strongly preferred.
- Experience with legal technology tools such as Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign, matter management systems, and document automation tools.
