Clients look to FactSet's Professional Services & Implementation group to develop and implement buy-side solutions that solve their most complex problems. Our clients see the team as a key partner when complex changes occur at their firm. These changes could include large-scale deployments of FactSet solutions, organizational changes, and/or enhancing custom processes.

The Lead Business Consultant role will leverage their FactSet product knowledge, industry experience, and project management skills to own the delivery of FactSet’s Buy-Side solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large implementation and transformation programs at our clients
  • Partner with clients to design a cohesive strategy for implementing FactSet into their operating model.
  • Create a consistent process for managing projects to increase efficiency and implement best practices.
  • Combine strong industry experience, project management skills, and FactSet product knowledge to deliver complex buy-side solutions for our clients.
  • Create necessary project management deliverables and confirm projects remain in-line with overarching strategies.
  • Partner with local leaders to properly transition clients to support teams.
  • Partner with management, sales, and specialty groups to strategize on potential Professional Services engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders such as engineers and product specialists to optimize the solution you’re implementing and provide product feedback / lessons learned.
  • Participate in team meetings by sharing developing trends, examples of what is/isn’t working, creative ideas for process improvements, and special project updates.
  • Develop and communicate growth strategies by outlining client organizational structures and uncovering additional opportunities during the implementation process.
  • Train, mentor, and help on-board new team members
  • Assist with team strategic initiatives including but not limited to learning and development, product/process improvement, and/or driving new opportunities
  • Assist in the pre-sales solutioning process for client engagements, where appropriate

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience within the industry
  • Strong product knowledge in buy-side solutions, particularly in the areas of performance, risk, analytics, and reporting
  • Business fluency in both Japanese and English is required
  • Track record in driving large, complex projects with many stakeholders involved
  • Detail-oriented and skilled at project management
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior-level personnel
  • Enthusiasm, desire, and a strong sense of initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage relationships and inspire confidence amongst internal and external teams
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Project management certified (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or comparable) or willingness to work towards certification
